MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) was founded in 1970 and started operations in 1972. Today it is the largest privately held Greek company. Its state of the art refinery - located at Aghii Theodori, Corinth - constitutes the centre of the company's activities. The strategic alliance with SAUDI ARAMCO, the largest oil company in the world, played a catalytic role in the financial development and international establishment of MOTOR OIL (HELLAS). This joint venture relationship between VARDINOYANNIS Group and SAUDI ARAMCO, secures the continuous crude oil supply to the refinery. With total investments amounting Dr 400 bn (Euro 1.2 bn), MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) has established and maintains a leading position in the sector.
