The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) was established by the eleven Member States of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation in 1998 as a regional multilateral development financial institution. The purpose of the Bank is to accelerate development and promote co-operation among its shareholder countries. The BSTDB will promote regional trade, finance projects, and facilitate efforts of Member States to create stronger links among their respective economies.
