The Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society is a Chicago-based Greek folk dance and traditional arts organization whose mission is to present and perpetuate the rich history and traditions of the folk music, songs and dances of Greece. Since its inception in 1989, Orpheus has focused on carrying out its mission by educating both Greek and non-Greek communities concerning the richness of the Hellenic folk culture and heritage through folk dance performances, dance workshops and lectures.
